Our Welsh Cobs

Clanfair Chanel
May 2000 Bay Welsh Section D Mare
(*Okeden Welsh Flyer x Nocturn's Crown Sensation)

Chanel is our beautiful 14 hh Welsh Cob mare by the imported stallion *Okeden Welsh Flyer. Chanel was bred at Family Partners Welsh Ponies in Oregon. Everyone who has met this lovely mare cannot say enough about her! Her pedigree is outstanding, and her athletic talent is indisputable. Foaled in 2000, Chanel has produced a very nice Welsh Cob filly, Clanfair Mary Kay in 2004 and a Dales/Welsh cross colt by our stallion Colliery Alick, Davidsons Mercury Rising, in 2006.

Chanel's athletic ability has won her numerous first place ribbons in both Pleasure Driving competitions and Horse Driving Trials. We have sent her to Adrienne Grasso at Sterling Farms Training Center for her jumping education this spring and summer.

Whispering Telynor
August 2004 Bay Welsh Section D Gelding
(*Menai Dambuster x Ayr Hawk's Mackenzie Rose)

Telynor is our 2004 Welsh Cob gelding by the imported stallion *Menai Dambuster. Telynor's future as our Welsh Cob stallion was cut short when we discovered that he and Colliery Alick could not be kept on the same 5 acres as long as Telynor was interested in breeding. Telynor also suffered a back injury that would have made campaigning him in 2007 and 2008 difficult. We decided it was in his best interest to geld him, and he seems to be much happier with his focus on performance.

With his 4 perfect socks and a blaze, Telynor is beautiful, sweet and a nice mover! He has been in full-time training with Adrienne Grasso at Sterling Farms Training Center in Livermore and is doing exceptionally well. He earned a Championship ribbon in the "Hunter over Poles" Division at the Cerro Vista show on March 28th and Reserve Championship for the same Division on May 2nd. He will be started over fences this spring. Telynor is for sale to the right home only. Please contact us or call Kelly at 925-788-0655 for more information on Telynor.
